Rebuild Actively in Progress

The Vision
A gathering place that combines everything Elsie Mae’s has always made with something new: a full bar, craft beer on tap, canned cocktails from the Sugar & Vice line, and a stage for live music. A neighborhood spot where the food is made from scratch and the welcome is genuine. A place for Kenosha.
Built from the Ground Up
Kelly spent years building Pies & Pints from the ground up: permits, renovations, equipment, menu, stage. Final licensing and permits were approved the day before. Everything was ready. On April 29, 2025, ten days before the doors were set to open, a fire broke out. The building was a total loss.
The grief was real and the setbacks have been significant. Insurance, demolition, and the liquor license reapproval process are all still underway. Kelly is working through it with the support of her community, her family, and the city of Kenosha.
She is still showing up. She has competed on national stages, opened Sugar & Vice upstairs at Last Ditch Brew Pub in Kenosha, and has been at farmers markets across the region all season. The demolition permit was approved in early 2026 and the rebuild is actively in progress. The vision is still there and the plans are moving forward. Updates will be shared as things develop.
What to Expect When the Doors Open
Fresh baked pies, pastries, and savory items from the Elsie Mae’s kitchen. Craft beer on tap. Spiked lemonades and cocktails from the Sugar & Vice line. Live music. A space designed to feel like a real community gathering spot.
